This is a course designed for Tour guides and operators to provide them with the correct and factual information about Eswatini, it has been running since 1995 and with the exception of 2020, 2021 and 2022 has run every year.
The Hospitality and Tourism Association of Eswatini began running this course when it was discovered that some guides were providing the incorrect information to their tourists about Eswatini, prompting the need for the course to ensure that the correct information is given.
The course covers a variety of topics as they relate to Eswatini, on top of these there are also included visits to some of the top tourist activities within Eswatini.
We also host a “Meet the guides” event where we invite the Hospitality and Tourism industry of Eswatini to meet all the guides who are on the course so that you get to know more about the industry and the offerings that we have.
Included in the course is the following: Accommodation, all meals, entrance fees, info book, certificate, badge, meet the guide event, transport while in Eswatini. The pricing does NOT include the cost of getting to the designated meeting point.
The course itself is open to anyone interested, locally, regionally, or internationally, who is either a registered guide, tour operator or an aspiring guide,
